The newest member of the Surface Pro- family, is also the thinnest and lightest member so far. The brand new Surface Pro 3 also features a larger display than its predecessors and a increased resolution , now counting 2160×1440 resolution on a 2K color-calibrated screen at a 3:2 aspect ratio. The screen still supports the intuitive multitouch input. Also, the laterst version of Surface Pro offers a more adjustable, continuous kickstand that will provide the user of almost all possible working- angles imaginable.
Multimedia and WiFi
Besides having the speakers front-faced, making them 45 percent louder than previous models. Also, the New Surface Pro 3 adds the support for the 802.11ac standard, providing up to the double connection speed over WiFi.
Along the many upgrades both the internal cameras now features a resoultion of 5MP capable of capturing 1080p HD video for sharing or communications.
Active pen
One of the major changes though isn’t the pen itself, but the change from using Wacom in previous models to n-trig digitizer. Now, one of the benefits by changing is n-trig beeing able to provid a thinner digitizer and thereby a more compact Surface Pro, as well as the many improved features. One of these new features from the custom Surface Pen is the one-click that opens OneNote, and a tap to instantly capture a screenshot of your screen.
Security and UEFI
One of the long desired functions is being able to password protect the UEFI. The Surface Pro 3 now allow you to do this. To further secure your device, you will also be able to disable both the USB port, docking connection and SDXC card reader on your Surface Pro 3. Improved is also the support for a ON-screen keyboard to type in your Bit-locker key during startup. By doing this, you no longer need to use an external keyboard to type in you Bit-locker PIN when applied to your Surface.
