After nearly a month after release to the U.S. marked, the Surface Pro 3 gets the second driver- and firmware update. Both in the same month, july 2014.

What’s new?

Bad as it might seem, a group of users is experiencing a “Limited Connection” after resuming from standby and is one of the issues adressed in this update.

At Microsofts own websites, the following changes are made:

The following updates will be listed as “System Firmware Update – 7/16/2014” or “System Hardware Update – 7/16/2014” when you view your update history.

    • Surface Integration (v.2.0.1038.0) further enhances system stability.
    • Wireless Network Controller and Bluetooth (v. 15.68.3044.85) further improving WiFi connection and throughput scenarios.
